Hi, I’m Jess Krulik, and I’m proud to serve as the High School Principal at Southern Local. I actually started my professional journey in criminal justice, but along the way, I found my true passion in education. I’ve been part of the Southern Local family for the past 16 years, where I’ve taught Biology and Anatomy, spent four years as Athletic Director, and then stepped into administration as Assistant Principal before moving into my current role.

Throughout my time here, I’ve also had the opportunity to coach some incredible student-athletes—over 10 years of football, 4 years of wrestling, and 4 years of track. Coaching has always been an important part of how I connect with students and help them grow both on and off the field.

Outside of school, I’m a husband to my amazing wife Laura and a proud dad to our two kids, Logan and Lily. Southern Local isn’t just where I work—it’s home.
