I am a proud graduate of Southern Local. I graduated from the Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2005 with a BS in elementary education. I obtained my MS with distinction from Capella University in 2015 in special education teaching with a focus on learning disabilities.
I am currently in my 9th year teaching here at SL. I have been an intervention specialist at the junior/senior high school, 6th grade intervention specialist, taught in the elementary resource room, taught 3rd grade (general education), and this year am back on the junior/senior high side as a junior high intervention specialist. I am also the junior class co-adviser.
